Nuisance Calls from own number!

Hi
Not sure how to explain ths but has anyone ever got a call from their own telephone number?
Didnt think that was possible but somehow we had a 1571 ansa message which turned out to be a nusiance call from our own number - it was automaed - we are registered with tps and are ex-directory.
Any suggestions?

It could be a text message sent to your landline and converted into a voice message. I have had a couple of these and the Caller Display on my phone shows my own number!This space has been intentionally left blank0

Call1899's VOIP service will allow you to spoof the number calling to a number registered for 1899 - could someone be playing a practical joke?0
