Have you done a complete SOA Liz? This will really help to show you where you could make little changes that could potentially make big differences?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

You cannot do much about the loan, which card has the higher APR after the 0% ends?

    Virgin cc (0%) : £3,172.82
    M&S CC (0%) £701.42
    Mint cc (0%) : £926.50

    RBS loan (6.9%): £5985
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

Also Liz, while you're on the 0% rate, NEVER miss or make a late payment or they'll immediately shoot the interest rate up!

    Hi

As a mum with two small girls and in about 19k of debt, like you I dont have a flash car I just used it to live and buy things for the girls.

I know my husband didnt really have a grasp on how much our family costs and I think he secretly blames me, either way we are getting is sorted now with a DMP with CCCS, I dont think I will ever touch a credit card again now though, if I do use credit in the future it will be something sensible like our mortgage or car, now I save up for things which is a novelty to me and I actually quite like it!

Like you I have splashed out a lot on clothes over the years for myself and our daughters and I have sold shed loads on ebay over the past few weeks. I have been making about 30 pounds a week , I list about 8 items then as soon as they are sold, list another 8 every week without fail, I am on a serious diet at the moment and have lost a lot of weight and had a lot of on sale clothes in my wardrobe with tags still on. Ebay is very easy, a decent cameram, some rolls of brown paper and away you go, you will never believe how easy it is !

    K xx
