  • I had a similar problem, managed to get a cleaning cartridge for my pirnter. Try https://www.choicestationary.com or ebay ?

Incidentally when you clean the heads using the epson program, it can take 20 - 30 repetitions, or even maybe more to see any results - hence why to use cheap cartridges.

  • As a last resort before the whole thing goes in the bin you could try buying one of the quite cheap ink refill kits. These include a bottle of inkjet flush. If you have one put plenty of flush into an empty cartridge, give it a good shake, fit it, and then carry out the head clean operation several times again. Then leave it to soak for 24 hours.
Then head clean again. After a couple of days it may penetrate thru the dried up gunge.
