Having a nightmare with Virgin Mobile

I ordered a phone on saturday morning online for delivery on Monday. I got my mum to stay in all day Monday, it didn't arrive, after 2 calls to Virgin they promised delivery Tuesday, so my mum stayed in all day again, no phone, I've now spoken to 6 different people who promise to sort it out but no one does, it's so maddening, not one person has phoned me back to let me know what's happening. A further annoyance is that i have to hold for upto half an hour each time before i get to speak to someone.
They have taken the money but i have no idea where the phone is.
Any advice would be gratefully received!

Sorry no advise to give but if that was me i'd tell them to stuff it and request a refund, especially as you've talked to so many people and nothing seems to be moving
