Kitchen Tiling

I've nearly finished fitting my kitchen (doing it myself) but I draw the line at tiling (want it to look professional). I'm going to start looking around for tilers but I thought I'd find out how much it will be first (approximately). I'll be suppling the tiles so it is only the fitting needed.

The room is 2.7m long by 2.1m wide (only 3 sides being tiled) and it is only from the bench top to the cupboard bottoms (0.4m). Therefore, the total will be 2.2 sq m.

Located in Essex.

Cheers

I'm based in essex and we charge £22/metre. However, there is a minimum charge of £80 otherwise its not cost effective. Also, we prefer to use our own adhgesive and grout as customers invariably buy the cheap stuff and it doesn't do a good job.

Ammanda, are you sure that price includes the materials? It seems very cheap! Normally it's around the £20 psm labour only.

Thanks for all of your responses and sorry for the delay (I've been away for a bit). Anyway, found out that my neighbours are tradesmen and one of them is a tiler. He agreed to do the tiling in return for me letting them store a mini digger on my drive out the back of the house while they are completing a job locally (they don't have off road parking).

    Result all round!
