Where to sell a car?

Hey all, got a car I'd like to sell, where is the best place to sell, for speed and cost (IE quickest turn around, lowest cost?)

Anywhere good? Anywhere to avoid?

im currently selling mine with pistonheads (free) and will be putting it on ebay.

Depending on the car, try an owners club.

Side of the road if allowed.

Just sold my car on autotrader - online and 3 weeks in the magazine cost £45 - had about 12 calls in two days and sold it the day after it went online (never even had the chance to get into the magazine).

Car was extremely well priced (considering the age etc) so might explain the interest.

If it is a car in demand in the market free pistonheads classifieds will be enough.
If less desirable or there is not much interest inside a week autotrader and ebay.
