Nearest airport to Benalmadena

Can anyone tell me which is the nearest airport to Benalmadena? I think it may be Malaga. Also what is the best way to get from airport to resort? Will be looking at eithir taxi or minibus transfer - depending on distance.

Its around 17 euro from Malaga airport to Tooremolinos and and extra 5 to 7 euro on to Benalmadena. Have never used the transfers apart from Taxis. Its only about 10 min in a taxi

If you don't mind carting your luggage,why not get the train.Its on the upper level,over the road.It costs buttons to get to the nearest station in Benalmadena,which is Arroya de la miel(spelling).

Came back from Benalmadena a month ago, we got the train from the airport, very easy into Arroya de la miel, from there a taxi(s) to our resort.

Train cost 1 euro 40pp taxi 5 euros to resort in Benalmadena.

Taxi's only carry 4 persons, so we had to get two as we are a family of 5. But still much cheaper than a taxi from the airport, and we enjoyed the train ride.
