Hello everyone,

I'm a newcomer to MSE although have lurked for some time. I love this forum in particular and thought it was about time to stop lurking and start posting.

Dh and I are expecting our sixth child, and have children ranging from 8months up to 12 years (there will be less than a years difference between child five and the new baby!). My second child is home educated, while child one is at Grammar School and three is at infants. Then there is my two year old as well.

I work part time in an office (a couple of evenings and a day at the weekend) and am also a cloth nappy advisor from home. We already do a number of "old style" things which I didn't really think about being old style at all, just a way of life, such as using cloth nappies and wipes (obviously!), eating home made food rather than the overpriced cardboard pap which probably don't taste any better than the boxes they come in, using my slow cooker more and more and using my breadmaker as well as the all important money saving coupons, discounts and general bargain hunting. However, I do rely on my tumble drier a lot so I'm not completely OS!

I'd love to find out more about container gardening so we can grow some fruit and veg in our rather small garden, am interested in finding out some natural cleaning tips instead of relying on the irritable sprays and might even dust off my sewing machine (won on ebay) and learn how to use it!

Am looking forward to getting to know you all better and please keep those delicious recipe ideas coming!

All the best,

Lotta
