I have just had to reload windows due to re-formatting my hard drive. Now, for some reason, my mouse is scrolling oddly. It used to scroll web pages, via the wheel, smoothly.
I have gone to the control panel nd changed the settings for the number if lines it scrolls but i can't get it smooth again.
Can anybody help.

Hi rp5017,
Load internet explorer, goto tools - internet options
Goto the advanced tab and under browsing there is an option to turn on smooth scrolling!0 -
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, the option was already ticked. I have tried disabling and enabling the function but it didn't work.:beer:0

This might seem really silly but, Is it a ball mouse
thats got dirt on the scrolling wheels.
So its all jumpy, really sorry if this sounds silly.0 -
Not a silly question at all. However i am using a optical mouse.:beer:0

If its a specific mouse i.e bought seperately it might help having
the specific driver installed, do you know the make and model?0 -
It's a Tiny Wireless Optical Mouse. It came with my sons computer however, i was using it for months on my computer before it got restored with no problems.:beer:0

I get an error message when i try to install. Should i wait for my son to get home and install the original driver cd.:beer:0

Ok dont bother installing tweakui if that doesnt want to install but I
would say it could be helpful having the specific driver for that mouse
by installing a CD that you might of got with it, If you arent to
sure I would wait for your son.0 -
Thanks for your help:beer:0
