Opening First Direct account- not yet on electoral roll

Anybody know chances of opening FD current account without being on electoral roll?

Lived in my current house since Nov 07 but not got round to registering on electoral roll. Have filled the form today, but council can't put me on til 1st July

All my other accounts addresses have been changed and my experian report shows new address. I applied for an Egg card 4 months ago without any problems.

What are chances of opening first direct current account if i apply now? (not yet on electoral roll) Which credit reference agency do first direct use?

Just try and apply, you may be lucky. Worst case scenario is that they *might* leave "one" search on your credit file, doesn't really matter.

...but when they've accepted me couple of years back, I wasn't on the electoral roll.

I opened a 1st Account in the last month and I'm not on the electoral roll at my new address yet either.
