Destperate for some good advice................
I am a 29 year old single girl who works as Audio Typist in the local hospital. I only earn £11,419 per annum but with all the talk lately about buying houses and what a waste it is to rent i have been thinking alot lately about whether i should look into buying.
I already have a £5000 loan which i have over 5 years and unfortunately no savings worth talking about. Am i totally mad to even think about it, obviously i wouldnt get much of a mortgage on my own with my current salary but i was wondering if maybe coownership would be worth a look?
I've had a bit of a look around and the cheapest property ive seen in the area is about £87,000, but it is a bit grotty. Just want some one in the know to advise me if i should just put the notion out of my head if its gonna be totally unrealistic for me.......
