i see there's a bit on the template where you send off a list of youre charges, also keeping a copy for yourself with you're first claim letter.
does this mean i need to photocopy my bank statement pages which include the charges or can i just write down all my charges with the dates alongside?
thankyou in advance

All you need to do is use Martins Calculator, depending on if you are going for interest and send that along with your letter.

Seek legal help if unsure.

i dont think i'll add interest yet (my printer is broken so im a bit stuck on printing out), if they end up pushing me nowhere when the hold gets lifted, and i feel court is the only option, then ill add interest.if im not claiming interest, do i just need to send the first letter and nothing else?

The calculator lets you either add interest or not.
Send the letter and a copy of all the charges by using the calculator.
This will put in the date of the charge and the amount.I all have learnt is from others on many sites.

ok. ill have to use a friends or families computer to print out using the calculator, thanks i'll do that then. is it best to not add interest at the beginning, im going to try reclaiming £690 or should i just wait to see how it all goes do you think and add at a later date if i need to?0

I personally added interest on all my claims, i settled for exactly what i asked for, apart from a company i wont mention who paid me double what i asked for.
It is your own choice on what to do, as i dont want to say do this or do that and you dont get your win your claim.
Dont want to be blamed.:A I all have learnt is from others on many sites.

no no, i wouldnt blame anyone for advice given in good faith.maybe i should add interest, just to show them i am serious that i'll go to court if they dont settle? 0 -
As much as i hate this phrase
At the end of the day if they are going to say NO, they will say it no matter what amount you ask for.
So you might as well as them for what you are legally entitled to, therefore they might be enclined to settle for less and that settlement could be more than what you would ask for if you had not added interest.
Hope that makes senseI all have learnt is from others on many sites.
