Hope I'm having a moan in the right place:D
In mine and my mums surgeries there has recently appeared a leaflet from a company called Universal Medical ID advertising medical ID jewellery.
The only timescale on the leaflet is 'DHL express processed in 3-5 business days all other orders 2-3 weeks'. IMO the leaflet is VERY misleading - anyone sending their order by post, and paying £14 for DHL delivery will not get it in 3-5 days (online it also advises of 3-5 days for etching too).
We paid for DHL, the ID took 18 days to get here, from the USA!!? My mum has been wittering on to me everyday for this b$**dy ID tag and their customer service (in Bedford) has just been extremely evasive - they did say that DHL would request a signature - it was shoved through my letterbox - I feel like saying it's never arrived and asking for a refund
Grrrr

I think the fact that it says 'processed' and not 'delivered' on the leaflet probably means you have no technical grounds for complaint, but it might be worth drawing to the attention of the surgery so that they can either make it clear on the display or possible remove the flyers all together.
In fairness on the website it does say 'Most orders will be dispatched within two weeks. Urgent shipping available at additional cost.' And on the flyer available online it says that it is only £8 for the DHL shipping - did you have to pay more?
Unfortunately, I think the best you can hope for is that if you let them know how misleading you found this and they might agree to clarify it for further print runs.0
