AVG has just picked up this java/openstream any ideas?
Hasn't finish scanning yet. computer has run slow today.

    It has finished scanning says its found a virus but hasn't done anything with it. Not deleted it or sent it to the vault. WHY?

    see if you can quarantine it ,aybe it hasnt done anything because it is waiting for you to make a decision whether to delete it or quarantine it. check it out.

    If you have the new Java console installed via an update AVG sees it as a virus for some silly reason

    i have a feeling the AVG free edition does not delete stuff from your system,similar thing happened to me. i down loaded the free edition of ANTI VIR ,(a German anti virus prog with an English version to it,via google) found it worked a treat deleting odd virus's and a trojan horse i had lurking in the system
    never put off buying a bargain today,it may be gone tomorrow
