hi,
i have ordered an item off a website that priced up as £0.00. i placed the order which was accepted and with delivery it came to £5. plus £17.50 vat totaling £22. i paid on my credit card and that was accepted.
i have had a phone call today which i missed regarding the item.
do they have to give it me?? do i have any rights as the order was accepted-do i have a contract with them?
thoughts please.

Please post in right forum this is not a grabbit
Sticky: Posting On The Grab It Board
This board is for short-term, grab it deals only. Anything else, including general supermarket offers (bogof, half price or 3for2 etc) should be placed on the Shop But Dont Drop board.0 -
How do you know that the order was accepted? I doubt very much it was.
You knew it was too good to be true, you are not entitled to the item, just a refund if any monies have been taken.
Poppycat is right, definitely not a Grabbit ...Gone ... or have I?0 -

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. I'm a bit confused:i have had a phone call today which i missed regarding the item.
Have you actually spoken to the company?
Have they said they're not going to supply the item you ordered (at the price they advertised)?0 -
This is an obvious misprice. This will more than likely be covered in the shops T&Cs. They may have a section in the terms covering misprices, or you may find that they only accept the contract once the goods are dispatched.
Misprices have occurred many times over the years (and posted on MSE). I see your chances in this case as minimal to zero. You do not have an automatic right to the product for the price you paid.
£17.50 VAT is due on an amount of £100 (not £5). This alone points to an error. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

I'm afraid the last poster is correct, this was an error. Surely you didn't believe this item was 'nothing' it was an error.0
