Natwest are really getting on my t**ts

Options
Transfer of ISA requested 10th April from NW to A&L for the £3021 in there.

3 weeks go by no news, no movement

Recieve letter from NW stating they stopped transfer because my signature is/was different. I have had the same one for years!

Send letter back to NW again signed

No answer for week now--- phoned them up, deny recieving letter and try to give me a loan for 25k

Has anyone else had this palaver!. meantime I'm losing out on another 1.5% that A&L would have given me..aaaaarrrgggghhhhhhh:mad:
One day I'll be rich me tells ya.....rich.....hahaha:D

SAme sort of thing for me too. Traying to transfer from NW to Lloyds. Lloyds send letter on the 18th. Called NW 7 or 8 times, being transferred to different departments, until the final one confirmed to me that yes they have received the letter and it would take up to 30days to process. All i wanted to know was whether they had received the letter etc, and it took me the best part of 1.5 hours to get this info. Not happy about wasting my lunchbreak...

That's right. You can open one new plan a year, this year's limit £3600, but tranfer them as often as you like.

The big banks seem to have the most problems with ISA's and the building societies the least in my experience. Suppose it's more their bread and butter.

At least you found someone there who knew what an ISA was. Must have been their specialist. :)
