Was wondering if anyone else has received an email from Natwest. It says they've updated there online banking and need you to click on the link supplied to confirm.
I'm very confused as I don't have any money products with Natwest! I haven't clicked the link either.
Wondering if its a scam
best wishes
Charlotte

Im with Natwest but have not had an email from them0

100% phishing/scam e-mail hoping you'll click on the link and divulge your log in details if you had a Natwest account of course.
You're wise not to click on the link - DON'T. Just delete the message. There's lots doing the rounds and not just Natwest. A bank or building society etc. will never ask for security details in an e-mail.
No doubt it says "dear Natwest customer" or similar that's the first clue. Natwest would know the account holders name and should use it in any communication.
If you feel so inclined it can be forwarded to phishing@natwest.com0 -
get them regular, i e-mail them to natwest phishing site,if they are the same i delete them0

i have had in last week, natwest, abbey, first direct, halifax and smile.... lol. do they think we are that dumb" I'm just a simple janitor, who can control people with my mind"0

I've had this god knows how many times-I sent mine to Phishing@natwest.com and they log it. I have had it about 8 times...it states somewhere, something like-''we demand that you take 5 minutes of your time''
NO-ONE DEMANDS MY TIME-cheeky beggers...even if it was legitimate (which it categorically isn't) based on that wording, i'd tell them to sod off! Lol
So in answer to your question-it is indeed a scam!Loan-£3600 only 24 months of payments to go!!!
All debt consolodated and cards destroyed!!

I've had one from Lloyds recently. Poor scammers, you must be bloody desperate to want a Lloyds TSB account.0

Got one from `NatWest` this morning.
Deleted it after I opened it.
No telephone numbers, no real NatWest info, besides the logo.
If its not pishing, then the bank can ring me - they got all my numbers!Living debt free, since Sept 08 & Dec 10 :wall:
