some of you may remember i have lodged a complaint with the FOS which unfortunately has not been looked at yet as they are very busy, part of my portfolio is in Standard Life select property and Norwich Union Global property, i switched both of these to temporary cash funds within the companies as the price was dropping and i was worried, it now appears to be climbing back up slowly, should i go back in - whats the general concensus on these funds, can i still do this (contact my IFA) while i have a complaint waiting to be dealt with?
thanks

here's an opinion I found using Search

This recent CITYWIRE article may be of interest.
Even if property funds have hit the bottom, an economic slowdown usually means co's don't need as much office space, retail slowdown means shop floor space is less in demand and so on. So I'm not convinced that they've bottomed, but even if they have, I don't see commercial property funds being anything other than modest any time soon.
Only my opinion, of course, could be totally wrong - and often am!0 -
The threat of knock on effects from lack of liquidity could still hit them and commercial property returns historically are more closely aligned to GDP so if a recession does come then it could hit returns. The only issue that appears to be ending is the outflows and that was the cause of the large drops over the last year.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
