Empire Direct

I've finally had enough.

I have previously bought high value few items from ED and been extremely pleased with their prompt delivery but placed a small order and it's been hell.

Beginning of April though I ordered for curling tongs - just £4.99. They were shown as in stock but a day later had an email to say there was a delay and delivery would be in 2-3 weeks (payment taken though on 3/4/08). 3 weeks went by so I rang to chase delivery and was told they were out of stock and they didn't expect more in. They offered and alternative and told me they would be with me the next day. That was 2 weeks ago. I've rung 4 times and each time they said they will look into it and ring me back, but they never do.

I'm now on the phone again to them and I'm not happy. I've spent more on phone calls than on the blooming product.
