Not moneysaving - Graduate job...

I studied Events Management, just finished a couple of months ago and have been offered job with a 4* hotel, organising weddings, conferences and other events they hold.

Im really scared, can i do this?? What if i mess it all up?? Has anyone else had the wobbles after being offered a graduate job?

Im usually quite confident but this has scared the bejeezus out of me....

If it's any consolation, when I got my first teaching job, I felt exactly the same.... even once I started I used to come home weeping sometimes, convinced I wasn't doing a good enough job, didn't know everything I needed to etc etc etc. My dh (wise from a young age) told me, "The day you come home and tell me you are now a fantastic teacher and know everything there is to know about the job, is the day you should give up as you'll be useless"!

Fast forward twenty-seven years and I still get the collywobbles at the start of every new academic year.... but it's those collywobbles which mean I'll have the adrenalin buzz I still get from doing a job I love!

Well done on getting what sound like really interesting jobs, :j:j hope they bring you much happiness. You'll both be great I'm sure.:T:T
