Puppy shakes after eating - dogs wont go near him!

Im sory for making another thread. Could really do with some advice.

Went my auntys yesterday, and bought our pup home. Hes eating brilliantly, drinking milk and eating puppy food. Its after he eats - he shakes? And im not sure why. I always fuss him after.and put a towel round him. When he goes sleep - i put a towel round him also and if he does not like it round him, he moves slightly.

Also we have 2 other dogs, boy and girl. Girl is 6 tomorrow and boy is 6 in october. They will NOT go near him, they will sniff at him when he is asleep. They wont come in the living room and im in on my own atm and it is really hard i feel guilty for my dogs. I have tried not leave them out. The food pup leaves i let them drink/eat aswell so they dont feel left out.

I was up all night with him - he would NOT sleep, been up since 7am with him. Its worse then having a baby im sure.

Could anyone please help me. Im going to give it upto 2 weeks then if this problem still going on we will have to ask my aunty to have him back :(.

Thank you xx

Take the poor thing to bloody a vet!!!! If the vet is too expensive, try the PDSA...

Surely, that's is the ONLY sensible thing to do? Not to wait two weeks and then say, "oh well here have it back"!

No. Im saying that if my dogs dont get on in a week or so time, then he will have to go back. It would not be fair on the pup or my dogs. I will be ringing the vets tonight when my parents get back.

Always ask the vet if you're worried about the dog.

But - did he do this when your aunt had him? If not, he may be shaking from stress. If you fuss over too much, it can cause him to feel stressed and this would explain why the other dogs don't come near him - they won't like the unstable messages he's giving off.

Just wondering how old the puppy is? .. why is he having milk? . Milk isnt great for dogs they dont have the proper enzymes in the stomach to break down the milk so it just sits there and ferments! .. which makes for bad diarrhea. its a bit like giving a lactose intolerant human normal milk ..
cats dont need it either .

He drinks puppy milk. Whats best for a pupy to drink then, water? And he is 5 weeks old. We are going to see the vets , my dad is due home anytime soon so going give them a call. Thanks for the replies.

I thought puppies were supposed to stay with mum until 6-8 weeks?

He should still be with his mum. 5 weeks is far to young. No wonder you've been up at night with him. Why did you take him that young?

Me too. Everything I read and all the breeders I spoke to before we got our pup ALL said anything before 7 weeks is too early to leave Mum. Most said 8 weeks was the right time.

No wonder the wee soul is shaking, it's all probably too much for him to adapt to all at once. I think he needs calm more than he needs fuss maybe?

I did not want to take him. My aunty was moaning because she was well for one !!!!ed up, and for two because her dog has had enough (she is not a breeder). I also thought he is worried because earlier when i put him on his bed he was shaking, so i picked him up and put him on my knee and he put his head on my chest with his blanket around him. He has constantly had a fuss off me apart from when he is asleep of course. Hes well behaved.

I think it would be best if he goes back to my auntys. Only thing is, they are on solids now and the mother does not want to know so does not feed them at all so they either have puppy milk or water and puppy food - winalot.

Hes just tried to bark at the tv not sure why. Apart from this he is full of life, he is a little buga hehe and likes to bite everything he sees.
