Cooker Hood Issues

Hi All
I’ve recently bought a new kitchen which is due to be delivered at some point this week. I’m also about to place an order for a new Baumatic 900mm cooker.
I initially was going to buy a matching Baumatic 900mm cooker hood. I then ran into a few issues. I measured from the top off the cooker to the ceiling and it’s 1290mm. If I put on a splashback the standard size is about 750mm which leaves me with 540mm to incorporate a cooker hood. I’ll be ducting though the ceiling as there is no outside walls to go through. So the only option is through ceiling using a small chimney style duck which my roofer said is possible
The hood I’m looking at:
http://www.baumatic.co.uk/products/catalogue/cookerhoods/BT9.3BGL
but it’s minimum height is about 583mm!!
Anyone else have any ideas? I would consider other brands if it means getting the hood in. Recirculation hood is not an option. We were renting the house prior and I just left the original panel extractor in there, but since I’m redoing all the kitchen. Basically the kitchen is an extension part of the house so the ceiling is quite low!
Advice much appreciated
Regards
