satanders machines in spain do. ALso there are a few cashmachines within travel agents that I have seen that allow you to withdraw euro's instead of pounds. Barrhead travel in dundee high street being one.

ANyway she will have to appeal the banks decision.

I must admit, that's what I had been wondering. Did the ATM give the OP the choice of converting the currency and, when she said 'No' (ie allow the card issuer to convert), returned the card and paid out the 100 Euro (after she'd moved on)?

In other words, was she sure what she was saying, 'No' to, and are her bank right that the money was paid out?

Like I said, I have never see one that shows the rate....
