How is this for a poor investment? I recently found a Nationwide CashBuilder Share Pass Book that last saw the light of day in 1999. In December that year it was updated and contained £49.73. I’ve just taken it into the local branch, and in those intervening 8 years the total interest earned is £3.97.
Damn, still can’t retire then!
