NCD on home insurance?

We are looking to change by Buildings and Contents Insurance. I filled in the form at Moneysupermarket and one of the questions was regarding how many years No Claims Discount we had, which threw me a bit as I was unaware that there was such a thing for this type of cover.

So, is their such a thing; how do I know how much I have? I have never claimed on any home insurance policy.

Cheers.

Generally it is how many years you've been claim free, most insurers give a small discount for claim free years. It's worth entering how many years claim free you've been to get a discount, some companies are generous with their discounts.
