I went to buy a coffe maker from Tescos that was cheap anyway (about £9) only to find it was reduced even more (£3.70 something!). What an absoloute bargain, its a fair size & makes a great gift ... why not stock up for X mas?!! Its my bargain of the month for sure.

I might try one of these, just while I decide whether or not to splash out on a Tassimo (waiting for some new Boots codes to appear!!!).
Thanks!

Do you have any more details? Was it the Tesco own-brand?
Thanks.0 -
Hi yes its tescos own brand & comes in quite a big purple & black box so it looked a really pucker pressie at a wedding we went to, especially as they live no where near a tescos! Just had a look on their website & its not there .i think you will have to go in a store that sells all this stuff as there were lots there this weekend & they havent made a big thing of it on the shelves(we double checked that it was the right one we were looking at as it was so cheap)0

I wouldn't be too certain. Tea must be made with boiling water but the ideal temperature for coffee is 82 degress C. Because of this most coffee makers never get hot enough to do a decent cuppa.Mandles wrote:Yes , im sure you could use it for tea too...not sure about the car though(might be messy!)
You could try a kettle
Can I help?0 -
I bought one of these at the weekend. I broke the jug on my old coffee machine and needed one in a hurry (got to have a pot of coffee first thing). I used it on Sunday no probs. Then Monday, I don't know what happened to it. It didn't drip down into the jug and overflowed back into where you put the water. I had to really clean it out, and run just water through it a couple of times. It's been fine since I cleaned it out, and worked another 3 times since, with no problems.
It's not the best machine in the world (not at that price), but will do till I find another machine I like. I've got to say, it looks better in the box than it really is.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
