  • In my experience an Official Receiver does not do any interviews, they manage a whole office. They only have input on complex cases or complaints. The interviews (face to face and telephone) are conducted by examiners. They are responsible for assessing your case, verifiying and testing the cause of insolvency, identifying assets, reporting on the case to their manager, an Assistant Official Receiver. I am an examiner, not in birmingham though!! Glad you feel it went ok.
