I would gladly appreciate any information

My partner lost his licence for 6 months October 2005. He contacted his branch manager and explained that He had spoken with his insurance company and they agreed to cover the period of unemployment. They also explained that the fist month of the claim would not be covered, due to this being a general procedure. He was very happy with the information that He had received. My partner had also just received a cheque from the Clydesdale Bank Plc for over £3000. This was for reclaimed bank charges. He decided to go in to his local Clydesdale branch and pay the four payments of £94.97 totalling £379.88. The Manager asked him to write out a cheque for over £800, He took advise and cancel the cheque straight away. He knew that He would be charged a cancellation fee of £6.00. So he contacted the manager and said that he only wanted to pay what He owed and that was £379.88 + £6.00 total £385.88. The Manager explained that he had closed the account and that it had been rushed to the Debt Collection Department, and that there was nothing more he could do. As it stands to date his solicitor said to go to CAB and they would deal with it, He has done that and CAB have helped but they have not got any further forward last letter received stated that the account was transferred for collection on the 30th April 2007 with a balance of £3888.95. CAN ANY ONE HELP & SHOULD WE NOW THINK ABOUT A SMALL CLAIM IN THE MAGISTRATE COURT?:money:

I must confess to being a little confused here, what licence did he lose and why does it affect accounts with Clydesdale bank? Also what are the instalments for?

If you could maybe clarify the actual events I'm sure you will get some responses.

    A little confused?

I read it three times and am still none the wiser.

If the OP could put in all relevant info, then as you say, I am sure they will get plenty of help. Unfortunately as the post stands I think they will struggle
