Recommended couriers to Ireland

I've got an item on eBay that has unfortunately been put on as being available for posting to the UK and Ireland. I've had two Irish eBayers ask how much to post to Ireland. The item weighs £2.5k and the auction finishes tomorrow.
The problem is one of them has now decide to bid so I have to find a postage price quick and advise them or possibly end up with a non-payer.
I've never had to use a courier before and was wondering if anybody has any suggestions/recommendations please?
Thanks in advance.

Thank you!
Have got a quote and posted it on eBay. One question though - do they have prices on exact weight? I had to put in the weight as 3kg but it is 2.5kg and there's no option for that.
Thanks again.

If it's only 2.5 kg the post office might be a better option."Love you Dave Brooker! x"
