Just got a second current account, will they close it...?

So i am unemployed just now have been for a few weeks, now i just got hit with £150 of charges in my first account(HBOS) putting me into red, so i thought i would try and open a second account from A & L so that if i had any cash, or was given a gift(from family) i could put it in there as my first account is useless at the moment, so, firstly i am surprised i got the second account from A & L, i told them i am unemployed and gave them my old sort code, account number from first account as requested in the sign up,..etc...so they knew the situation... ?

Secondly i will probably hardly use this second A & L account, so do you think they will close it pretty quick if they see its only used to put the occasional small deposit into?
