You can't add to it each month, but you can open a new one every month.

Just received papers for signing re Nationwide Flexi account, to enable me to pay in money for withdrawal on holiday, is there any small print that I should be looking for? I was told that to avoid opening it with £100 deposit I will have open an esaver account, but dont know at what point I have to do that. Any advice would be appreciated. PS I am opening this account to run along side my Lloyds account for my bills and not changing over the direct debits. thanks in advance.

I use my Flex a/c in exactly the same way, alongside my LTSB a/c.

Unless things have changed since I opened mine, I can't recall a minimum opening balance requirement and the Flex a/c gives access to opening an eSavings a/c, so I can't see how you would be able to open one in advance.

Mine normally has a balance of £10 or so, until I load it for holidays - those funds go into eSavings & are transferred via the internet into the Flex a/c as required for withdrawals abroad.

If you do have over 3 K in a Flexaccount, is it the whole balance that gets 0.25% (or whatever they're changing it too) or just the amount over the 3K?

All amounts up to £3000 get a rate of 0.1, 0.5, 2.0 or 3.5% based on how much you have paid in that month. All amounts above £3000 get the same low rate of 0.1 regardless of how much you've paid in that month.

When are they changing the minimum deposit (for higher interest ) to £1500? It still says £1000 on the web site.
    Thanks
