You can't add to it each month, but you can open a new one every month.free4440273 wrote: »^i had no idea one could even do that?? i thought bonds were one-off payments (which you cannot add to). so, for example, the NW one year fixed rate bond on offer: can i add £250 to this each month

Just received papers for signing re Nationwide Flexi account, to enable me to pay in money for withdrawal on holiday, is there any small print that I should be looking for? I was told that to avoid opening it with £100 deposit I will have open an esaver account, but dont know at what point I have to do that. Any advice would be appreciated. PS I am opening this account to run along side my Lloyds account for my bills and not changing over the direct debits. thanks in advance.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

I use my Flex a/c in exactly the same way, alongside my LTSB a/c.Just received papers for signing re Nationwide Flexi account, to enable me to pay in money for withdrawal on holiday, is there any small print that I should be looking for? Unless things have changed since I opened mine, I can't recall a minimum opening balance requirement and the Flex a/c gives access to opening an eSavings a/c, so I can't see how you would be able to open one in advance.
Mine normally has a balance of £10 or so, until I load it for holidays - those funds go into eSavings & are transferred via the internet into the Flex a/c as required for withdrawals abroad.0 -
If you do have over 3 K in a Flexaccount, is it the whole balance that gets 0.25% (or whatever they're changing it too) or just the amount over the 3K?0

All amounts up to £3000 get a rate of 0.1, 0.5, 2.0 or 3.5% based on how much you have paid in that month. All amounts above £3000 get the same low rate of 0.1 regardless of how much you've paid in that month. If you do have over 3 K in a Flexaccount, is it the whole balance that gets 0.25% (or whatever they're changing it too) or just the amount over the 3K?.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0 -
When are they changing the minimum deposit (for higher interest ) to £1500? It still says £1000 on the web site.
Thanks
