driving someone elses car on my insurance

right, i've been looking for car insurance tpft cover. i've been through all the usual savings sites and got some fairly good quotes. i've seen a couple of policy documents online and it looks like they cover you for driving someone elses car but i'm not dure if it does. could anyone tell me if there are any insurers that will let you drive someone elses car. thanks

DOC extension usually only applies to comprehensive policies but there may be an odd insurers that grants it on TPFT. Its usually given to over 25's and dependent upon the policy wording may be limited to DOC under TPO cover in an emergency.

Vary's widely from Insurance company to company, check the policy and cover wording with them all before taking out the cover, usually quite a few WILL cover under TPF&T driving of other vehicles but will be limited to third party cover only - you find this to be the case regardless of whether you have taken out fully comp or TPF&T.

Beware RAC insurance if you want to drive someone else's car.

They don't ever include it (comprehensive or tpft).
