Hi there,
I was hoping somebody could help me.
I need to install a 30 day trial of Office 2003, but I don't have the key.
I have asked Microsoft, but they are not willing to help, even though I actually ordered the CD from them.
Many thanks to you all.

Didn't think you needed a key for a trial, they are usually free for the trial time, if you ordered a cd have you not purchased it?Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0

Sadly I need a key - I can't click on next to continue installing it.
Thanks for your help though.0 -
You wont have to have a key for a trial, as above, what you are after is the
serial key for a full version, im afraid you wont get one here, and if you did
that would be illegal, so you will have to fork out £363.08 inc vat.0 -
If I don't put a CD key in, then I can't install it?
Can anyone here tell me what Im doing wrong then.
It is office 2003 professional, the 30 day trial version, for sure.
Thanks again for your help.0 -

Post the link from where you got the software
and I will find out what the score is.0 -
I used the trial about a year ago and you needed a key then.
I'm sure the key was on the back of the packet the disk came in
I think that's because the version you get these days is actually a full version and you get a key that is time-limited.
That means if you decide to keep it, you only have to enter a new key rather than uninstalling it and the installing a new version0 -
If you ordered the CD, the trial key should be inside the CD wallet. If not, register to download the trial and use the trial key that appears on the web page - you don't have to download the trial. Note that this download key is for 60 days and should work with your CD.
Edit: actually the download key is for Office Standard edition, but it might work with your Pro CD.0 -
Many many thanks to you all.
I knew this was the place to ask for help.
Apologies, for asking the wrong question in the first place, and I will make sure that I do not make the same mistake again.
Thanks again to everyone for all their help.0
