Tax Free Friendly Societies - Savings/Investment accounts

In addition to an ISA which Martin advises us that we should all have to utilise our tax free savings and/or investment entitlement, I understand that we are also entitled to a “Friendly Society” savings or investment account. I understand that this allows £25 per month for at least 10 years (some allow longer) to be saved/invested.
Does anyone know of any reliable comparison charts for these tax free accounts with the different “Friendly Societies”?
