how do I contact my ISP please?

My friend in Finland has recently gone on line, I receive her emails ok, but I get an error message when I try to reply.Other emails are fine.
the message said undeliverable. The reason for the problem:
5.1.0 - Unknown address error 550 - is blocked (Listed in dnsbl.sorbs.net)
please contact your own ISP.'
How do I do that please?

Have they got a website? Did you get contact info when you signed up?

If not, who are they?

Phone them up, your ISP is the Internet connection Supplier, or Internet Service Provider

I am with tiscali.co.uk I have just looked at there website, and there is a trouble shooting page, but I couldn't see anything about error 550 there IP address is [212.74.114.37} it is very complicated and if i could find a phone number i would phone them.
now i have an urgent appointment so will be on line later.

This error means that either their or your IP address is being blocked because it is on a list of open relays for spamming attacks.

It is likely that the address that is being blocked is yours!

Give details of the problem to SORBS (http://www.nl.sorbs.net/) as they are the ones who have the data about the reported spamming

or contact Tiscali support by email and tell them that the IP adress you have is blacklisted.

Hi Adeliene,
The problem you are getting is caused by spam. It looks like her ISP has decided Tiscali is a "bad" ISP. When a large amount of spam comes from a specific ISP allot of other ISPs blanket ban any email originating from there to help reduce the amount they get. It looks like thats what her ISP has done.
Try emailing her from another account that isnt Tiscali based (gmail or hotmail etc)

Thanks everyone who helped me, I now managed to contact my ISP, but still couldn't send my friend email, so now thanks to "SAFESOUND's advice I now have a hotmail address and have sent my email at last.
