Questions about Marseille

I'm looking at booking some cheap flights to Marseille with ryanair but before i do i was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions.

First one is quite possibly the most important one. What time does the airport shuttle bus finishes? My flight arrives at 11:00pm and i have read on a couple of websites that the last bus is at 10:30pm which would mean i have to get a very expensive taxi into town.

The second is can anyone recommend a central cheap hotel as all the budget ones i can find are located miles out of town near main roads.

Any other hints and tips would be greatly appreciated too.

Well, Marseille is not a resort that immediately springs to mind with regard to visiting. It is a major port on the Mediterranean and mainly a business city. Holidaymakers fly there and then travel to other destinations.

However I'm sure that someone will come along soon with relevant information. It's the weekend, so probably many users are either away or just too busy to log in...

I would have thought that Ryanair might have some helpful information?
