Yes I think it may be best with private treatment to pay for it outright with a credit card, if i decided I needed it that was. In my original reply to you I mentioned going to see your MP.
I think this is a good idea - health trusts and boards have targets for both diagnosis and treatments. You could be falling outside these - your MP might have enough ''pull'' to push you higher up the waiting list at no cost to you.
