My sister wants me to book a room for her at a hotel. Octupustravel.com say the availability is "on request". Does this mean there is avalability, should I book it or not?

It means that Octopustravel will contact the hotel on your behalf to see if the room is available, which could take time, if it isn't available they will try and sell you a room in another hotel.
You could do a google search and see if you can book the room direct with the hotel on their website or other agents.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
When I booked through Octopus, the hotel room was on request, but they got back to me within 24 hours, so I was quite impressed with that.****************************0
