Is my wife entitled to Job Seakers Allowance

My wife was made redundant after working for a firm for 13 years. I am still in employment and earn around £24,000 a year plus a pension of around £7,000 a year. Will she still be entitled to claim Job Seakers Allowance.

As she has been in (full time?) employment for so long, she should be entitled to Contributions Based JSA xGone ... or have I?0

Your wife should be able claim Contribution based JSA for up to 6 months, your income will not affect her claim.0

To all those who gave advice I would like to say a very big "Thank You". My wife has been interviewed and it would appear that she is entitled to JSA.0
