Help my Paypal discount code didn't work

Hi all, bought an item on Ebay and when I paid using Paypal I tried to use the code they had Emailed to me giving a £7.50 discount did not work.
Tried to complain through Paypal site but my complaint came back unknown address!
What do I do now?

Make sure that your eBay email address (which received the code) is registered with Paypal

Unfortunately, your situation isnt unusual. Loads of ebay users have tried using these discount codes only to find they dont work. Unfortunately, you only discover that once you've commited yourself to a purchase. :mad:

i had one that didn't work because the ebay email address it was sent to was different to my paypal email address. so i added the ebay email address to my paypal account and then it worked.

did ebay send you the code? if so, add the email address that it was sent to, to your paypal account

those ebay codes work only with chosen ebay-ers.
If the code is not working (both ebay and paypal emails are the same) contact paypal with ths issue, they will credit your account after reviewing your case and consulting it with ebay. I had it before. I pad as usually, then Paypal refunded me that amount the code was supposed to give me.:j

I've had the same problem.

Received codes from eBay into my eBay messages folder, and my email.

My email is the same for both. I get all the Paypal invoices etc, into the same email as my eBay messages.

I emailed eBay to ask, and got a standard reply back, which was of no use whatsoever.

I gave up in the end, as it was only a £2.50 voucher.
