Hi
Has anyone heard if Internet Telecommunications plc has gone bump? I got their details from MSE and signed up with them back in April for cheap line rental as I did not make many out going calls.
Since the weekend I cannot now make any calls - the message is "you are not registered for this service" but I can still accept in-coming calls.
I've tried phoning ITplc but lines just ring out. Am I to assume they have biten the dust and I need to find another provider?
Thanks for any help.

Have you tried the 1280 overide access, is that working? The story i have heard is that there is a major cable problem between them and the Bt network and it is being worked on.PF.0

Hi,
I too am with IT and have not been able to make outgoing calls for a few days, with the same message as you being given. The override code does not work for me yet I can still use the internet and receive incoming calls. I contacted them today again, (it was easy enough to get through this time) and was told the problem was with the BT - IT connection cables which were damaged and they were waiting for BT to repair them. I do think the whole thing is a bit fishy though and it also crossed my mind that they have gone bust! I am in the Manchester area if that makes any difference to what they tell you if you do manage to get through. Will post any updates as and when i get them.0 -
Internet Telecommunications plc always seemed a dodgy service anyway, so wouldn't be surprised if there is more to it, I just couldn't see why people would switch to them with their appalling T&Cs.It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

Thanks for all the comments.
I finally got through to IT and I was told the same thing - a line had been damaged and was in the process of being repaired.
I can make out going calls now with the 1280 prefix and hopefully the problem will be sorted soon.
Their terms would not suit most people I know, but as my total calls cost is only £2 - £3 a month I have already saved money on the rental by switching to them.0
