I've just got myself a brand spanking new laptop with Windows Vista but I can't seem to find Outlook Express - does Vista even come with OE?? If not, does anyone know where I can get the latest version??

It's been replaced with Windows Mail which should be on your start menu somewhere0

You can also use Windows Live Mail, which is the latest version.
WLM is similar to OE and Hotmail and Google emails will download so they can be read there. You need to 'fine tune' it to your own requirements though, which you can do using 'Layout'.
Good luck0 -
Or if you don't like it download Thunderbird. It's my problem, it's my problem

Office Outlook is pretty good and does more than outlook did
edit: I must admit I use hotmail with live messanger running 98% of the time. There are 10 types of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't...0 -
Been using Windows Live Mail on both Vista & XP with Hotmail / Yahoo & ISP mail for the past few weeks.
Works perfectly well and unlike OE it splits all the mail into separate accounts0 -
I found that outlook and the like were a pain to set up, all the pop this and smtp that, but once it's all set up and working I like it a lot, plus you can make emails that look like web pages, fancy pics and colours, I don't know how I did without for so long, thumbs up to Office Outlook 2007.There are 10 types of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't...0

As already mentioned its been replaced with Windows Mail which is a far superior mail program than Outlook Express ever was. Been using it since Vista Launched in January last year without any problems.Once configured (fairly easy to do) it runs like a dream.Cheers
