Hi there
Here is a link to the policy document online:

Thanks oscar so am i right in thinking that we may as well keep it until it is the next time to renew as it says not applicable for monthly payments? does the refund only apply to dd's or have i read that wrong!(probably)..

Ok well have just rung them and asked why we haven't been sent a letter saying it will go up and they said they are not obliged to and that the renewal letter says you have 10 days to cancel..fair enough..
She then said if i wanted to cancel then to write to.... i said would we lose the rest of our money and shes said they do backdated refunds on claims..she thinks!! So will try and change if this is the case..anyone sure?

Hi again
I'm concerned that they say that they only have to give you 10 days notice to cancel after the renewal date and not inform you about increases in premium. The Consumer Credit Act would, I believe, require them to give you notice of an increase in premium and they should subscribe to the Direct Debit Guarantee, requiring them to give you 2 weeks advance notice of an amendment to the direct debit.
The way I read their terms, they will not refund paid direct debits. In other words, if you were paying £10 a month and cancelled in the middle of the month, they would not pay you back the £5 they technically owe you. This seem fair enough, as it would cost them more to refund you than you would actually get back!!
Get quotes elsewhere and cancel if you are not happy with the premium you are paying.
