what's the quickest you've ever sold an item on ebay?

today i put an item up as a BIN (4 items the same) at 12.24 and by1.30pm i'd sold three of the four. checked out and paid for.

i was just wondering if anyone had any stories of lightening fast sales?

You weren't charging enough for them then!!

End the last one now, then relist at double the price!

About 10 minutes, bought a shuttle-type computer system off another eBayer, once it arrived etc I changed my mind about it so listed it back on eBay with a BIN of £20 more than what I paid for it. Went and made a cuppa, came back and it had sold and the buyer had paid via PayPal already. :D

Maybe they are very popular because they are underpriced.

Have you tried listing one on auction to see how much they can reach? I tend to price my BIN's a little bit higher than the average auction end price, simply to attract a premium from those that do not want to wait for the aucton to end.

I'd rather sell 2 items for £15 than 5 of them for £5!

I purchased an Oasis (the group) T Shirt in its packaging from a bootsale for £2 one Sunday morning. Decided when I got home that I didnt like it so put it on Ebay £11.50 Buy it now (having looked at comparisons in completed listings. Went to check that it was showing in My Ebay a few moments later and it had been bought and paid for. Posted on the Monday and buyer received on the Tuesday ( I did not even own the top 3 days before the buyer received it). I think some people have an alert system where by they are sent a message if a certain item is listed!!

My brother in law asked me to sell a game for him, I got confused about the price and listed it for £10 BIN. By the time I'd rang him and he told me it was vastly underpriced  it had gone, all in the space of about 5 minutes :( I felt so guilty that I made up the difference to what it would normally have gone for, so cost me £20

I sold a 32mb CompactFlash memory card on BIN for £4 in 45 minutes. I was a bit surprised as I had checked closed listings and most cards that small didn't sell at all! Not complaining though. And it was a couple of years ago.
