Tooth Implant

I'm currently having two implants fitted. Went to the place my dentist recommended.
I honestly cannot imagine going somewhere I would not be able to access quickly if I needed to. I had my broken tooth removed and had to wait about three months for enough recovery in the jaw to then have the implant in. The other one was to replace a tooth that was removed years ago so no problem there.
I've just returned and had the two implants in and now have stitches in place and was told to not hesitate to go back at any time if I had any problems/concerns. The stitches will be removed after 2 weeks, so need to go back for that.
I was told I would have to wait for about 3 months for it all to settle. So that would have been a lot of travel back and forward if I had them done in another country, added to the worry that if I felt there was something wrong I wouldn't have quick access.
Early days for me but so far so good.
