BT line rental (you have to have a calls package too now - but let's gloss over that for now) is a minimum of £10.50/month. Are you sure your line rental is with BT?

It should be possible to reduce your £60/quarter cost of calls but it depends on the types of numbers you call and when. Can you be more specific on that?
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Do you get a Paper Bill from BT,or an online one.

Are you paying for any call features eg Caller Display.

BT Total Broadband Option 1 costs £17.99/month (or £15.99/month if you agree to an 18 month contract) so there's a £1 (or £3) reduction there.

Sky and Setanta don't negotiate on costs so you're stuck with those TV channel subscriptions if you need that much TV.

Please see the HERE link in my signature below for some suggestions on how to get that £60 cost of telephone calls per quarter down.

If you have Sky Sports why on earth are you paying for Setanta as well? Get rid of the Setanta as theres no minimum contract with them & you'll save £10 easily.
