I got my 2 labradors in Jan this year and so far they have cost £10 a week to feed(not including treats and big bones),£25 a month to insure,£130 in new leads/collars/harness/whistles etc,£100 for beds and food bowls,£326 for an emergency vet bill on a sunday(before the insurance kicked in),£65 for a new hoover(the one I had couldnt take the dog hair and melted) and around £400 in loss or damage due them chewing everything in sight(I have no leather shoes left at the moment).
I wouldn,t be without them.I may have no decent shoes left but life is so much nicer with dogs in the house."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
Oh yeah, I had to buy a new hoover too!
Luckily as mine was already a year old when I got him and he is only half lab he doesn't chew! But to be honest I couldn't get angry with him if he did0
