Recommend a CC for my circumstances?

I would like to apply for a CC but don't know which?
I obtained my credit file approx 12 months ago and there was nothing adverse on it, but, nothing to show a positive position either. Just a recent mobile phone application which has now run 15 months and no late payments.
I had operated on a basic bank account for a number of years as HSBC refused to give me a full cheque account. I had previously not used my full account for some time and they had downgraded me!
So after the report check I applied to Abbey for a full personal account (I already had a saver account) and was accepted.
So what CC would anyone suggest as being a little forgiving in the circumstances?

I'd suggest going for one of the sub-prime 'credit history building' cards if you've no real history... then going for somthing better in a year or so after good use. Can't find any info right now about them.... sure it's easy enough to find thoughOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 784 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0
