at PC World and it seems a good deal, he wants it for xmas. My quandry is does everyone think that this is a good deal and grabbit now or do I wait til nearer the time and there will be plenty of others of the same or better spec cheaper?

He is 12 and wants to be able to play games, go online( we are going to need wireless networking as we have a broadband connection) and homework.

He would like to be able to play some powerful games, but not anything like CAD

Then this isn't the machine for you, for gaming integrated graphics usually aren't good, if you want to spend that amount of money I have been looking through PC's for you, I recommend this one

EDIT : Of course you have to weigh this between the pro's and cons of buying from PC world and buying from an online company
