size 2 or size 34 lady's shoes wanted

  • It is UNFAIR that we have to scrabble around for great, small, adult shoes in fashion.
There's an e bay guide on small shoe shopping, too, and a couple of articles on Shoewawa which point out the trouble we all have. I wrote them, but must point out that I don't get any gain from them as I don't have any links with them re advertising or anything else.
I am about to do my annual trawl of small feet sites so will keep you all updated.
The main problem is the lack of consitency between Size 35, size 34 and UK 2. Also, children's size 2s do not correspond to adult size 2s. But gawd help anyone who redirected me to the children's departments! I'd leave at once.
What we really need is to have equal opportunity with everyone else in the high street to TRY THINGS ON! grown up shoes for little but grown up ladies. Oh dear, do I detect a rant?
    Forgive me.

PS I have four pairs of Heavenly's shoes, one for work and three for dance. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had.

I have this problem too. I usually wear size 3 boots with extra thick socks just so that I get the style I want - prob really bad for my feet I know!! Just out of interest how "tall" are all you petite feet ladies? I didn't even make it to five foot and it's finding jeans that fit that's my real problem. Any advice on that much appreciated!!

I'm only 4ft 8 and a bit. That extra bit is very important.
  • Have you tried Pavers shoe stores? I had to mystery shop them and they had quite a large range, they also have them in Boundary Mills stores if you have one near you?

I bought a pair of Size 2 shoes in Pavers at Southport a couple of weeks ago. They were in their sale and they had quite a reasonable range in stock. One of my favourite shops.

Me too Libra10!! Even in my highest heels I'm still tiny. I wish I had a pound for every time my 10 year old daughter's friends say to me 'I'm nearly as tall as you' - then I wouldn't need to be on here!!

Makes me laugh how people always say to me 'wow, you're really small' when they first meet me - would they say 'wow, you're really fat?' or ugly, or bald etc!!? It's like they think I haven't realised!!

My 15 year old grandson overtook me in height years ago, the 11 year old is now taller than me, and the 7 year old is rapidly catching up.

I am very interested in this because my sister who is 4ft 10 needs a size 1 or maybe a 2 shoe. She gets so annoyed having to find shoes and I am always on the look out to help her. I also believe that over the past few years shoe sizes have generally got bigger. I remember when we were teenagers my sister used to fit into many size 3's and I usually fitted into a size 3 or 4. But now sometimes size 3's can be too big for me and she is a 1 or a 2. I don't know if this is of any help but sometimes the primark shoes come up very small I have two pairs in a size 3 and they were so tight I got my sister to try them and they were nearly there. So if you are a size 2 it's worth trying some of the primark shoes, and they are a bargain too xx

I have similar problem, so been buying difference size shoes to try to find an exact fit. So now I have 3 pair of unfit shoes(one sandal size1 from Germany, one sandal size 3 from Germany, one lady shoes from China, size 34 roughly UK size 2).

I wonder whether anyone would like to have a look the pictures. If so drop me a private message with your email and I will send the photos to you. If you like it I can put them on ebay :-)
